I am pleased and honored to have my GALLERY showing at Donna’s Jewelry Box LLC, 209 South State Street, Marengo, Illinois 60152, (Phone: 630.377.3363). Donna has gemstones from the far corners of the world and many of the exquisite pieces were created by her.
I personally tone and print all my images using a color balanced workflow. This means my cameras, printers and computers are all calibrated to work together so that what I see on my computer screen closely matches the final output from my printers. The substrates and pigment inks I use have an archival life of 75-100 years and the mats are acid free. Unlike traditional silver prints which are chemical based, I use ink jet printers which sprays the ink on the substrate. You may have heard the term “Giclee Print”, Giclee (ZHEE-KLAY) is a French word which means a spray or spurt of liquid. My frames of choice are black gallery frames which emphacize the image and I prefer either a black or white mat. Just as photography is very subjective so to is framing and matting a photograph. For this reason I offer all my work as prints only leaving the framing and matting to your tastes and decor. Print sizes are based on the image size and can vary slightly depending on the crop. When printing an image I will leave a border to allow for proper matting. I can print most of the images in the “FINE ART PRINTS” gallery to custom sizes, feel free to contact me with questions or special requests. Below is a price list of what is available at the GALLERY.
